I wasn’t sure if my sleep was a mess because I had just had a baby (even though he’s sleeping through the night) and hormones were still screwy or it was the Wellbutrin, so I spoke with my psychiatrist and we both decided it was fine to stop. Or I’d wake up like 3-4am and can’t get back to sleep. What didn’t go away was the wake ups through the night. For the first few weeks on Wellbutrin I had a hard time falling asleep but I stuck it out and that eventually passed. I have a history of anxiety, particularly sleep anxiety so insomnia is no stranger to me and I’m very familiar with my sleep patterns. I was on it for a little over 2 months after I had my second baby.
